According to the decision of the Vilnius Regional Administrative Court, the sanction imposed on the client of the law firm Stašaitis & Partners by the Environmental Protection Department for undeclared or declared less than extracted natural resources was reduced as much as 10 times from EUR 30,782 to EUR 3,078. In making the decision, the court took into account the arguments of the law firm Stašaitis & Partners that the additional calculated taxes for the extracted natural resources were paid, the company did not evade the tax liability, did not systematically violate the law, did not have similar violations.
